Nature inspired wall decor

One of my latest obsession is nature depicting photography and paintings. This is why I cannot imagine a cozy apartment without a wall decor to match the quiet nook. For nature lovers I suggest a few images inspired by delicate butterflies, optimistic spring, "magnetic" sea and even by forest fairies.

Just look at The Ripple Effect photo signed by Andrew Smith ($59.00) from Cuba Gallery. This image is captured with a precise knowledge of composition, shape, lines, space and texture. You might put it in your bedroom, or even hanging above the bath tub.

I also like Scott Pollard illustrations like the one with the girl in the magic wood, I really think it would look great in my bedchamber (why kids have all the fun?). Check out more of Scott Pollard's illustrations on his website, and prepare to just enlighten your home.

Another idea is to have nature close-ups (or macro photography) decorating your home. Take a look at Maria Kallin's imagery on flickr. She is a photographer who calls herself an amateur, but I think she is a genuine artist that pays attention to overlooked details that surround us each day.

My last but not least option is the Red Butterfly print from BalletArt, a beautiful work of art made from ink, pastel, graphite and marker. Would it look good in the guest’s room?
