Don't you just love these cute rag dolls found at Ptolemy Toys? Not only they make wonderful gifts for every little girl, but they're also beautiful decorative objects with their charming little faces and adorable tiny clothes and shoes.
I know I would love to have my sofa covered with SILKE dolls (or maybe I'm just a weird old gal). The price is a little high (£150.00) but it's totally worth it, as the dolls are hand made by traditionally methods, have high quality mohair or artificial hair and the clothes are impeccably cut and very fashionable; just look at little Amelie.
The SILKE Collection was created in 1982 by Elend GmbH, a small family-run company based in Gräfelfing, near Munich, and dedicated to bringing wonderful, inspirational stuffed dolls for children. The design, with simple, clear shapes and colors was influenced by the experience of educationalists, especially of the Waldorf School.
